Aatmiya Yogini

Markov says he wants to be like me. I want to be like him too.

He is unassuming and humble, but as you talk to him about his work you realize how remarkably intelligent he is. He is kind, sweet and gentle. I found his deadpan sense of humor and willingness to do crazy things (like pose as a 16th century stone carving at a monument) so unexpected and endearing.

I am glad he agreed to fly to Chennai to spend a day with me.

Vrinda is a kind and thoughtful person, she took time to show me around Chennai and put me up for the night. She has taught me many things about the Indian character. I want to be like Vrinda.

Because the Yogini is gutsy, brilliant, tough, warm, and just plain interesting. And she writes proses about poses!

I want to visit India someday. And I can’t think of a better day than the Yogini’s birthday, to stand out on her vr_an_da and give her a big birthday wish and hug in person!

There are too many reasons to put into typed words on a computer – the reasons being of the heart and not being of language…. but some of what I can put into words includes her passionate spirit, her deep love of life and the way she honors her health and her body… PLUS she has just that spark of wicked sense of humor that so resonates with me.

I also enjoy that she has met Sanjay Mirchandani, a dear one from my past. Getting to know her reminded me of the preciousness of that time with that man… and it has been fun to share that with her here.

I would LOVE a 43T meet up in India, too – which she has written about here. What would be cooler that that? I actually have quite a few readers in India… so… it would be festive and fruitful in many ways!

I admire Aatmiya because she has a huge heart Woof Woof. She loves pussy cats, and so do I Woof. Maybe I could talk her into loving dogs too Woof Woof. I don’t think she could resist me :) I know Aatmiya and gemmword are freinds, and I’m gemmword’s little gem Woof Woof. I like being freinds with gemmwords freinds Woof.

Even though she is older than me by a good fifteen years, she treats me like a true friend. She helps me with anything and everything – the A to Z of life. If I have a problem regarding the opposite sex, she has an answer. Although we are quite opposite in our personalities, we share a lot of things in our lives. I’m so grateful to have her in my life. If it hadn’t been for her, I wouldn’t know what I’d be like today. She is full of vigor and life and loves to have fun! She has this magical aura of conjuring the angels to cheer everyone around her. If I’m down, she’ll cheer me up. Thats why I love her lots and she will always be a true friend. :)

Aatmiya Yogini (a.k.a. vrinda) is such an incredibly gorgeous woman; such a jewel of femininity.

She is so charming, and kind, and pleasant. And she’s very fun too.

I would love to meet her! She is so beautiful, that I imagine her surrounded by beauty. Maybe meeting her in a lovely garden of flowers, and perhaps with gold statues surrounding the garden.

I think if I were to spend some time with this exquisite creature, I would like to take pictures of her. Or maybe just to sit and watch her dance ever so gracefully.
